Set Sale Prices

Correctly set up sale prices (also known as strike-through pricing) that show the original price crossed out with a lower sale price β€” helping boost conversion and urgency while staying compliant with Amazon’s pricing rules.

Prerequisites

  • Access to Amazon Seller Central with listing edit permissions.
  • Active listing with a current Buy Box offer.
  • Product must have a valid β€œYour Price” already set.
  • Know your regular price and desired sale price.
  • Understand that Amazon only shows the strike-through if it meets their internal criteria (they verify that the sale price is genuinely lower than your recent average price).

Procedure

  1. Go to the Product Listing
  2. Set Your Sale Price
  3. Verify the Sale is Live
  4. End or Extend the Sale
