Hijacker Monitoring SOP

Check all brand listings weekly for unauthorized sellers (“hijackers”), document any suspicious activity, and take the correct steps to remove them quickly before they steal the Buy Box, damage pricing, or harm the brand.

Prerequisites

• Access to Amazon Seller Central
• Access to Brand Registry (if enrolled)
• Access to your Authorized Seller List
• Access to Hijacker Log spreadsheet
• Understanding of MAP pricing and who is allowed to sell your products

Procedure

1. Check Listings Weekly
2. Log Unauthorized Sellers
3. Double-Check if Seller Is Authorized
4. Check If Hijacker is Selling Used, Old, or Counterfeit Items
5. Take Action Through Brand Registry (If Enrolled)
6. Optional — Send a Warning Message Through Amazon
7. If the Seller Won’t Leave — Escalate
8. Monitor Listing Daily Until Hijacker is Gone
